The Gables Guest House In beautiful, peaceful private grounds, just 5 minutes from the heart of the town of St Austell, this small, charming family-run guesthouse offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.The Gables Guest House is less than half a mile from the center of town and its banks, storse and movie theater. The train and bus station are also within easy reach.Slightly further afield, the Eden Project is only a 10 minute drive from the guesthouse and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are only 7 minutes away. Some of Cornwall's most beautiful beaches are also within easy reach, including Porthpean, Charlestown, Carlyon Bay, Gorran, Meavagissey and Portmellon.Parts of the building are believed to date back to the mid-19th century, including the attractive solid stone walls. All of the rooms have views of the beautiful grounds, the fish pond and beyond. Each room has a flat-screen digital TV, tea/coffee and a welcome pack including fresh fruit and chocolate.
