Smoked salmon and light continental options are also available. Light bites and traditional cream teas can be enjoyed every day, and the bar serves a range of drinks.Each room at Goonearl Cottage Guest House is cosy, with light décor and a flat-screen TV. The Lynton Cottage Facing Lynmouth Bay, with paths leading to harbour village of Lynmouth and the Valley of Rocks, The Lynton Cottage serves exciting cuisine and has free Wi-Fi in the public areas.The hotel is uniquely situated in its own beautifully wooded grounds, nearly 600 feet above the sea level, and has stunning views.Each room is individually decorated and features an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. All have spectacular panoramic views across the North Devon coastline.Guests can relax in the bar, the Georgian lounge or on the terrace weather permitting. Breakfast and evening meals are served in the dining room which has views over the bay.Set in 3 acres of gardens, in Exmoor National Park, the cottage is less than a 10-minute walk from the water-operated cliff railway which joins Lynmouth to Lynton. Guests can enjoy a multitude of wildlife, craft shops and cafes. Using this railway, the beach can be reached in 2 minutes.
